23 July 2006 : Leap
This one was shot at 9pm on a lovely warm saturday evening while walking along the front at Blackpool, my daughter gradually got more confident with each leap. This was probably my favourite and I wasnt really shooting this shot for featuring in the photoblog, its one of those that you think "I will do that again, but do this instead" she wanted the pictures so I shot em.

Hurray! A new post and a very nice one. Glad that she wanted the pictures and also to see that something is happening here. Best wishes.

Groovy light and colors. I would prefer more underexposure of the figure for a true silhouette.

wow. that looks like one of those moments we all have of a perfect childood evening...when the sun seem to set a just a little to quickly. wonderful light and subject. one question though..what exactly are the spheres? are they a statue or playground tyoe thing?

Brilliant, the wide angle has made it look like she's jumping really high. Lovely colour in that sky too. Nice to see your posting regularly again.

jumping has something libbing. pure freedom is what i see here. great.

Wicked shot, really great exposure, i'd disagree with the underexposed comment though, keep it like this and you can tell what's what, more under-exposure and the figure would be difficult to comprehend. Cool work.

Very well placed clouds, looks like your daughter's vapour trail! Whoooooosh! Great capture :-)

nice shot, really like the sunset-tones and the weird spheres that give a good balance to the image. First visit but i must say i like what you've done so far!

Shutter pressed at exactly the right time. She is quite high, that is quite a leap especially as it was done multiple times.
