26th November 2005 : Dawn Lomond II
Probably the final shot from Loch Lomond in this series, after an enjoyable weekend of early rises and flasks of coffee.

great image! Are this clouds in the middle of the picture at the right side?

That lovely, warm orange colour is deceptive...it was probably freezing cold sitting out there, wasn't it? Love the way the light catches that ribbon of cloud.

Awesome light. truly excellent. Were you camping by the loch? Just goes to shoe that you can't beat the first light of day when taking pictures of mountains and lakes.

This photo is supirior. I could look twice a day at this picture. The colors within the image are so pure and clean. I can literally feel the cold, fresh air that is captured in this photo moment.

All your shots from Loch Lommond are amazing. I was there this Xmas, but not at dawn unfortunately. I have posted some pictures on my photo gallery and will post on the photoblog as soon as I get a moment to process them properly.
Am I right in guessing that you chose to go to Balmaha rather than the other side? Or am I just disoriented?
