I hate it when you post such shots because it's almost impossible for me to replicate it in my home country. *jealous*

Just amazing! You really nailed this one. Did you use any filters or postprocessing to get these beautyful colors? Great work!
Martin Henricson on 16th November 2005 @ 6:41am
Nice. Would be even nicer if there was some celestial body in the picture. A planet maybe? Or the moon?
Jan Exner on 16th November 2005 @ 8:53am
Gorgeous colour.. Can just imagine what it would've been like to be there at this time.. Captured beautifully!
Ian on 16th November 2005 @ 9:43am
Martin : very slight adjustment in curves. Jan : I wanted the moon, it was behind me to the left. I did almost walk round to the other side to shoot it, I was running out of time though.

this is a beauty, love the colours and perfect reflection, well captured, and it doesn't miss having the moon in it, that would've given the shot a completely different mood.

I've just realised I've walked around this lake a few times in the past, as I used to live just down the road!
Aidemedia - Dan on 16th November 2005 @ 11:30am
I think i prefer this like it is rather than having the moon in it. There is a little imperfection in the sky though, just above the skyline on the right hand side, i would have cloned that out, looks like a spec of dust or something.
SteveO on 16th November 2005 @ 11:31am
well spotted steve, probably remove that later...and yes I prefer it without the moon, I just wanted another shot with the moon in it ;)
paul on 16th November 2005 @ 12:11pm

Awesome colours and composition...i agree, think i prefer it without the moon (obviously it's hard to say without seeing one but that's what i'd predict!)
