29th October 2005: Welcome to New Brighton
Strange day today with the weather, raining heavy a few miles from here, then clear skies an intense sun for a short period in New Brighton on the Wirral in Merseyside, England.
Without the circular polarizer this would have been a hard shot to get, the steel reflective surfaces were very bright. The polarizer doing its job well and giving the sky that dark blue gradient.
Enhanced with a low to medium S curve.

Great conrast with the dark blue sky. The metallic texture comes out really well. I really like this!

Lovely shot, nicely done with the polariser it has controlled the reflections well, and i love the colour in the sky.

Excellent. Makes New Brighton appear to be a very scary place though. In fact, I'm tempted to substitute New Britain.
