That is just beautifull! I love everything about this! The sky, the captured movement, the sepia toning. Excellent Paul!

brilliant capture. the interesting sky adds a lot too.

Very nice, love the tones and the contrast is superb. One point i would bring up (if im being picky) is that the girls leg seems to get lost in the trees a bit, leaving an all black space. Great action shot though.

Brilliant shot Paul. The sky is superb and the football is in just the right place!

Very cool tones. It looks so dramatic.

Paul, great shot, love the moment you've captured (and adore the sky, but you probably guessed that already!!) My one point would be the right edge of the young lady. There appears to be a visible outline, probably caused by different adjustments on the sky & subject, having done this a few (read 'a LOT') I know the problems involved!!

can you tell us about optikverve and what it did to this brilliantly toned picture? awesome!
Kristina on 6th October 2005 @ 5:28pm
works really well - great image in the first place i am sure, but neat effect.
Emma on 6th October 2005 @ 5:55pm
Absolutely love the drama of this shot! The clouds almost set the lines of motion of the soccer ball. reminds me of the movies where they have frozen an scene but other elements are still going. Brillant shot!!

I specially love the dark high contrast of the images tha gives it character and lets us see details at the same time. Nicely done Paul.

Excellent, you really excel at the black and white. Do you use filters on your camera or just the processing?
