Very nice. Very nice. Though I can feel the mosquito bites from here, because of that stand still water.

Ziz iz zo bzutiful!!! ;-) Loire is v. nice. Was shooting it's castles three summers ago, although I went there to pick apples and not hang round old creepy architecture. Fontevraud Abbey next to Samur is best! Here: www.abbaye-fontevraud.com

Great reflection and sky. Still waiting for your long post describing your trip. All us pilgrims can then follow the same route and name it after you (the skinnybuzzard route).

cool shot! is that a mote? including the trees in the foreground kinda make it seem like you're scoping out the joint - looking for a way in.
zac on 12th August 2005 @ 2:33pm
hehe, ok Ioannis Ill post the route.
Zac : its a moat yep...well they used a local stream/river with great effect, chataeu access is round the front, this is a view from the rear in the gardens.

Great shot, i went to this place when i was younger and remember this building well. Always good to get some shots that could be postcards.

Great shot. I like the reflection and the blue sky you got. Title should read "Azay-le-Rideau" however.
