25th June 2005 : Blue Silk
Not much of a gap between posts as I was late posting so if you didnt see my last shot click back as they are from the same outing.
This is another shot from the outing with Dave, John and Ioannis. This one was shot in the later on in the dark ar around 23.18pm, dave and myself were atempting to get these steel objects with the tide moving right up to the tripods....hence the shorter shutter time and chosen F stop.....as you can see from the shot the water was right upon me. Hopefully dave got his shot of these, which I might add will be a different shot as he was set up at a different angle.

Oh yeah, excellent mood here. The tones on the water are lovely. You know, I would have cropped it to leave the sky out. Dunno, just a thought.

I love these long exposures. It gives it such a ghostly feel. I would tend to agree about cropping the sky, though. The lights on the horizon and pale sky are a bit distracting.

This shot is fantastic. I simply love long exposures and the sky isnt too distracting because it lets you see where the reflections on the water are coming from. Great photo wet tripod =)
